The Global Betting Integrity Association (GBIA) has warmly received Galera.bet, a Brazilian sports wagering brand, as its newest associate.
Galera.bet, which functions under Match Time Solutions, is a significant player in the Brazilian marketplace.
With this addition, the GBIA now boasts a network of nearly 50 firms and over 50 sports wagering brands.

Brazil is finally regulating sports wagering after years of postponements. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed a Provisional Measure (PM) last week, putting the 2018 legislation into effect.
Galera.bet’s decision to join the GBIA arrives at a crucial moment for the Brazilian sports wagering industry.
To meet its commitments under the Sports Wagering Act, IBIA has joined the International Sports Integrity Governance organization.
IBIA declared its expansion into Brazil earlier this year, before the enactment of the Sports Wagering Act. It is collaborating with the Brazilian Institute for Responsible Gambling (IBJR).
