BCLC Temporary Leader Greg Moore to Depart in January

The temporary leader of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), Greg Moore, will be leaving his position in January.

Moore took over the role last September after Jim Lightbody went on leave for medical reasons due to cancer.

Moore will depart on January 15th to explore new possibilities in the private sector.

The BCLC board will now seek a new temporary leader, while Lightbody continues his medical leave.

Peter Cappell, the chair of the BCLC board, stated that Moore has contributed to reshaping the BCLC’s business practices and corporate environment.

This news comes after BCLC disclosed that their earnings decreased in the 2019-20 fiscal year due to measures taken during the COVID-19 outbreak.
