Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) has brought on board seasoned gaming leader Nelson Parker as its new Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth.
MGE revealed that Parker will be in charge of pinpointing, assessing, and carrying out expansion opportunities and strategic new ventures for the company.
In his new position, Parker will report directly to Carol Anderson, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and will initiate and review growth opportunities, collaborating with all departments to finalize implementation.
Parker joins MGE from hotel investment firm Driftwood Capital, where he served as Managing Director for over three years.
Before joining Driftwood Capital, Parker held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Penn National Gaming and also spent seven years as Senior Vice President of Hotel and Casino Development for Hard Rock International.
Parker’s other roles include Vice President of Development for Foxwoods Resort Casino and Director of Corporate Development for Argosy Gaming Company.

Nathan possesses over two decades of experience in crafting growth strategies across both the gaming and non-gaming industries. His deep understanding of the global gaming market, Native American gaming, hospitality, and hotels will play a key role in MGE’s ongoing success.
MGE also recently revealed the appointment of Raymond Lin as their new Chief Legal Officer.
Lin will be tasked with providing legal guidance to the executive leadership team, encompassing a wide range of business dealings, regulatory matters, international and domestic policy decisions, and the development of business, operational, and legal strategies.
Lin will also spearhead the legal, compliance, and risk management team to ensure that all current, future, and strategic endeavors are aligned with the best interests of MGE and the Mohegan Tribe.
