LRGC Gaming Ventures, a branch of Cordish, is spearheading the resort’s creation. This ambitious undertaking seeks to elevate the Shreveport-Bossier City zone into a prime location for gaming, leisure, and hospitality.
The financial influence is projected to be considerable, infusing millions into both the municipal and state treasuries. Initial forecasts anticipate roughly $35 million in gaming tax income for Bossier City alone within the initial five years of activity, with over $168 million produced for the state.
Beyond the monetary advantages, the endeavor is also a boon for job creation. It is predicted to generate approximately 750 construction positions, succeeded by an additional 750 permanent roles within the resort and casino.
