BetMakers CFO Anthony Perrin to Depart in 2024

BetMakers top financial executive, Anthony Perrin, will depart his role as Chief Financial Officer after a five-year period with the firm. Perrin was instrumental in BetMakers development and growth, guiding the tech provider to its current robust standing.

Perrin’s official exit is set for March 27, 2024, and BetMakers has initiated the process of finding his replacement. In the meantime, Warrick van der Merwe, the Group Financial Controller, will assume the position of Acting CFO. Van der Merwe has been with the company for almost three years and possesses significant expertise in the field.

CEO Jake Henson conveyed his appreciation for Perrin’s efforts, remarking, “Anthony has been a highly esteemed member of our executive team and instilled financial rigor within our organization. He leaves BetMakers on solid footing, having established a base for the company to attain profitability.”

This announcement coincides with a series of leadership transitions within the sector, with Star Entertainment Group also recently disclosing the departure of its CEO and CFO.
