Crown Sydney Receives Approval for Gaming Operations
Crown Resorts is elated to share that the New South Wales Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA) has granted the company the eagerly awaited permit to commence gaming activities at Crown Sydney. This signifies that their exclusive, members-only casino is finally cleared to open.
However, there’s a trial phase. The authorization is initially contingent and will remain in place until December 31, 2023. Throughout this period, Crown will collaborate closely with ILGA and their independent overseer, Kroll Associates, to showcase their dedication to ethical gaming practices and demonstrate the efficacy of their implemented reforms.
It’s crucial to understand that this decision follows years of extensive discussions and examination. Crown has been diligently restructuring their procedures and proving their commitment to becoming an industry exemplar.
“This marks a significant milestone for Crown, our esteemed guests, and our devoted team members who have been anxiously anticipating this announcement,” remarked Steve McCann, Crown’s CEO & Managing Director. “We’re thrilled to finally unveil the complete Crown Sydney experience.”
He continued, “Our goal is to be among the most respected integrated resort operators worldwide. Crown Sydney has already established a new benchmark for opulent accommodations, culinary experiences, and entertainment in the city. Now, with the inclusion of our top-tier gaming amenities, we can genuinely provide a comprehensive and unrivaled experience.”
For over a year, we have collaborated extensively with the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) to ensure our Sydney gaming establishment provides a welcoming and inclusive environment. We are dedicated to advancing crucial matters and showcasing our commitment to diversity, aiming to deliver a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
